Almost 5

Sarah asked if I can take a picture of how she looks before she turns 5 tomorrow. I wonder if she's going to look in the mirror tomorrow to see if she looks different.  We're having a birthday play date at 10:00 tomorrow morning, but she wanted to wear the birthday princess ribbon that we bought today. 

Look where I found the girls two nights ago.  They were having such a cozy chat, but then I realized that the ledge they are sitting on is at the top of the stairs, way too close to the banister overlooking the foyer. 
Erik was opening and closing the baby gate.  He crawls up and down the stairs by himself so I don't think we need to keep the gate up much longer.
