6 years old

This was a few months ago but I only recently downloaded the pictures from my phone.

Arve was out of town a few weeks ago and I sent him this picture of prayer time.

Big sigh...Erik gets into everything possible. 
This time Arve found him practicing with the girls' play make-up.

This lonely tomato grew out of the compost dirt Arve spread around our flower garden in the front yard.  It's ripening on our counter now so we'll see if it tastes good in a few days.   

Back to school haircuts! 

Sarah came downstairs fully dressed at 6:15 the morning of her birthday.  She's so funny; always prepared.     



Princess nightgowns, every day. 

She couldn't wait to write in her new journal! 

She has a really great group of neighborhood friends.

 Erik is making great progress with swimming! 

Right now, he can swim to me from the step, and he never tires of practicing.

 He holds his breath so he only kicks and rows a few times before reaching me. 

 

 

I had to post this sweet video of the girls at Track Camp in June. 

They held hands going to each of the activities. 

They were eventually split up into different age groups, but it was cute while it lasted.   

 

And here is Anna wiggling her way across the pool!

 

 Sarah has improved so much since the first day of swim team. 

In May, she swam the 25 meters in 1:40 and in this July video she made it in :37 seconds.
