Halloween!

A few Halloween pictures from tonight.

Erik was unaware of his flying power :)

Ok, Anna was a Cute Kitty until she asked me to make her a scary kitty.  I tried my best with mascara on her eyebrows and lipstick on her forehead.  Erik was totally content in his Superman pajamas.  Sarah started out the night as a Zebra.  You can't see her tail and it was too hot to wear the hooded jacket with the ears.  Then she changed into Bat Girl before we went trick-or-treating.

Having fun in Uncle Dan's truck bed.

Erik actually tried to say "Cheese".  Anna said "Frankenstein".

Daniel is being so patient with all three children wanting his attention. They just love him!
He is bombarded as soon as he gets home from work :)

We are all enjoying having Daniel living here.
But Uncle Dan might be old news as soon as his son Hayden arrives on Saturday.
We can't wait to see him!   The girls are already planning on taking turns sitting next to Tia and Hayden.

These fangs were the favorite treat of the night!
What a fun idea instead of candy!

This cozy picture was from a few days ago.
I love that Erik snuggles up to his sisters and expects them to be his pillow.

All the curls are gone :(  It was cute while it lasted but it looked overdue for a haircut.
He's 18 months old now, and 33 pounds and 33 inches tall at his check-up last week.
He's starting to talk a bit.  He yells "ME" when he wants me to give him something and he says "Nei" when he doesn't like the food I give him.  He says Anna when he's looking for her and E-E when he points to himself. It sounds like A-A like the beginning sound of his name.  I love this age :)

Here's a little tidbit about Sarah.  Last year, she refused to smile for any pictures at school and rarely for posed pictures at home either.  Whenever I asked her to please smile, she always said she wouldn't be ready to smile for pictures until she was 5.  We always wondered if she was going to grow out of it.
Wouldn't you know, when she turned 5 she did start to smile for pictures. So funny.
This was taken the morning of Kindergarten picture day at her school.
