Erik's Baptism

Here's the main man, not too sure about all the commotion.

Poor thing, he just wanted to nap, but I had to try on these adorable sunglasses from Tante Hege.
We can't wait to use them when we go out for a walk!

And this is what happens when Anna is left to finish black beans by herself at the table.
She really does love to eat them...but she also likes to paint.
Poor middle child!

Aslaug made this adorable sweater for Arve when he was a newborn.  As you can tell, Erik looks like quite the chunky monkey in it, but it is beautiful and the hearts on the front are just so sweet!
I wish he could have fit in it.

The Big Day!
Erik weighs 16 pounds now at 2 months old.
He outgrew the original 3-6 month christening outfit we bought when he was born!

Erik was such an angel for his Baptism!  He slept all day but was awake and alert for the pictures.

The Ory visitors, minus Joe and my dad, and one cousin.
Thanks so much for coming to celebrate with us, Jessie!

Grandmami and Grandpapa Ory.

Bestemor and Bestefar Lorentsen

Godparents Uncle Dan and Tia.  We kept giving Erik a bottle in between pictures and pulling it out just in time for the flash.  He eventually got annoyed with us.

I love his face in this one. He was so hot in the polyester outfit.  I wish we could have found a simple cotton one with stretchy fabric that is easy to put on a wiggly infant.

He is adored.
I love this part when he starts to recognize people and smile.

Bestefar was trying to get the girls to hop out of the pack and play and dance with him!

We had a wonderful Baptism weekend with everybody.
It was so nice to have lots of loved ones around again!
