Christmas!

We had a great Christmas opening some gifts at home in Houston

and some in LaPlace with my family.

Sarah LOVES puzzles. She did this puzzle of Norway with our help, but she usually can only do 10-piece puzzles.

Anna didn't like the new bracelet on her arm so she is wearing it on her ankle.

I knew she was a rebel :)

Christmas Eve with my dad's side of the family at my cousin's house.

Can you tell they are big hunters? And this is only half of the trophy wall!

Anna's favorite gift was a book, go figure.

She loves books so much that she asks to take one to bed with her.

Sarah finally has her own watch!

We are thrilled that she won't sneak off with our watches anymore.

Anna got a very special Hello Kitty purse, and boy did that cause much jealousy!

Our lovely host and hostess opening their own gifts. Such sweethearts :)

Anna did a little dance whenever she opened something she liked.

Nanan Bridget gave Sarah a doctor kit and she insisted

that I call her Doctor Sarah later that day. So cute :)

Uncle Dan and Tia were the best at entertaining our girls.

Popcorn and movie night was such a hit that they didn't go to bed until 10!

Helping Grandpapa in his garden. He has lots of vegetables but picking cabbage didn't compare to picking carrots straight from the ground! Uncle Ben's chickens are in the background. We had such a great trip and the girls slept most of the way back to Houston.
